Live Rock/Reef Rock Aquaculture
Our live rock (also known as reef rock) product consists
of quarried Aragonite rock. Reef rock is loaded at the docks and floated
to leased "live rock growing out" sites, located off the southernmost
point of the Florida Keys. The water at reef rock sites is pollution
free and abounds with life that any aquarium would be proud to display.
We feel that our live rock is of premium quality, both for its diversity and healthy condition. After a growing out period of several years, we consistently find reef rock living organisms such as purple coralline, gorgonians, encrusting bryozoans, feather dusters, spiny oysters and many different species of coral. Your order will have a selection of small, medium, and
large reef rocks. We can provide specific sizes of live rock upon request.
